We are truly indebted to our Ipoh friends for willing to participate in the experimentation of the 4 mudras. Thanks to their feedback we are able to now share this with more people and the modules have now evolved to their present 3 in 1 format.
On the 9th of October 2017, we went up again to Ipoh with the new 3 in 1 format and did an experimentation with the Ipoh friends. We had a good response and the feedback was very encouraging. Probably has to be due to the fact that though I was raised in Penang, I was born in the Ipoh District Hospital. So Ipoh Mari also!!!
We recorded most of the event on video but we haven't transcribed the information yet.
In anycase we found this write-up in our journal on the workshop refresher for the Mudras which took place almost two years ago. It is so relevant to what we are doing and provides us with the motivation to share this methodology to others.

Workshop Refresher in
Meru Valley, Ipoh
Female Male Balancing
Workshop
Facilitators: Andrew
Khaw and Mohana Sunthari
The
first Female and Male Balancing Workshop took place in August 2015 in Ipoh,
Malaysia with ten participants and the refresher for this pioneering group
started at 2pm at Mai Palmer’s Clearview home in Meru Valley Ipoh.
There were
four absentees from the first group.
The
workshop was divided into four parts.
Part One
We
received feedback from the participants on their experiences. Among them Jagjit
had a very interesting experience where she could not do the last mudra but was
guided instead to do a different mudra by her higher self.
The
mudra was a reverse of the unity mudra in the sense that the right fist
was upside down and the left palm was placed on top the right fist instead of
at the bottom.
At
the same time she could hear recitation from the guru grant sahib. In these instance, she feels that she is
receiving the blessings of the Sikh holy book.
She feels that this in indeed a miracle.
Mohana
reviewed the mudra and felt the energies of the womb being retained and feeling
warm internally while feeling a blissful cool breeze outside the body.
It was clear that this mudra retained the
energy of the womb while encouraging blissful states. We all tried it and some
of the participants experienced a similar effect.
Part Two
We
took all the participants through a Reiki healing and cleansing so that they
would be ready to receive the benefits of the 4 mudras. Almost all felt the
energies flowing through their bodies and some could see colours.
Part Three
After
getting more feedback from the participants we did the four separate mudras and
Jagjit finsihed with her version as that was more appropriate for her.
Kanammah
said she ended up in a mountain with a large bell and Andrew said that she had
arrived at Maha Meru, which refers to the balanced male and female state within the subtle energy body.
Most of the
participants saw colours and felt energy moving through their bodies. And for some participants, the energy was too
hot during the mudras and some had to stop earlier than two minutes. And some of them also felt a cool breeze at times intermingled with the warm energy.
After
checking with Mohana and Bakshish, we realised that Mai Palmer’s residence
aptly called Clearview Residence was in a location which had a lot of spiritual
energy and that was the reason why the mudras were almost burning hot.
Note:
During this session Yeshe felt strongly about the eating of meat and she raised
our awareness on this topic which was at this time a world wide issue as many people
are still meat eaters and the way animals were disposed off to feed humans was
inexcusable even though the people who ate meat had their reasons.
Part Four
Then
Mohana facilitated the last part of the workshop which was to channel womb
blessings from the divine mother. We have videotaped the process by Mohana and
this will be made available to the participants.
Feedback
Generally
we received feedback from the participants that most felt some form of healing
crisis – tiredness, some minor pain, body aches etc.
Yeshe
felt it as receiving energy from the sun which went to her head and them
onwards to her tailbone. Bakshish said
she saw a goddess asking her to follow her hand movements but she could not.
Jagjit
felt very tired and sleepy when she reached home and went to bed by 10.30pm In
the morning she woke up feeling light, otherwise she felt ok.
Tzuk
Yee had some pain in her collar bone area otherwise she is fine. Andrew mentioned that there is an important
chakra there that is beginning to open but overall Tzuk yee felt good
yesterday.
Kanammah said that the refresher was very fine and light and she was floating slightly. Andrew said she went to the stars and I chanted Om Sitare to bring her back to her body. She felt a lot of excess energy on Sunday and she applied minyak Cap Kapak and was doing more grounding today. Minyak Cak Kapak is a local stimulant to bring people back to consciousness
During the womb blessing she saw a
deity resembling Amman looking at her and she had goose bumps.
Not
surprising as the womb blessings are aimed at healing the womb which is the
source of the divine feminine and in the Indian theology Amman is a
representation of the goddess energy.
It
is very clear that the womb blessing by Mohana Sunthari brought in a lot of
healing energy and some are still feeling the effects. The recommendation is to footsoak with sea
salt, lime and some flowers to release the excess energy.
Simran
later did the mudras again and this is her feedback. When she did the yoni
mudra she felt a lot of energy going to her womb. For the masculine mudra, her
head rotated clockwise and anti-clockwise –which tells us that balancing is going on.
For the female
mudra, she felt hot at the hands yet cool at the forehead and for the last
mudra which is the unity mudra, she felt a lot of heat.
Cool Breeze – the antidote
to aging
For
your information, whenever anyone feels cool breeze during these sessions, he/she
is going to look and feel younger as the cool breeze is an anti-aging mechanism
that rejuvenates every cell in the body.
As
an example, our facilitator - Mohana Sunthari has been feeling the cool breeze
for the past three years ever since she has been doing IP Reiki and the
mudras.
Since every lady I know wants to
look and feel young – the practice of IP Reiki and the 4 Mudras – enables one
to feel the cool breeze and delay the aging process – so that even if one is
aging, the body still looks and feels youthful.
